How the Auction Works

Once registered, you will receive your bidder LETTER. This is the letter you will use to place your bids.

Important:
Questions are welcome during the live auction, but questions do not count as bids.

The only official bid is when you place your assigned bidder letter with your bid amount in the comments. You can increase in any increments.

During the Auction

For each item:

  1. The host will spend 3 minutes describing the item, including:
    • Size
    • Measurements
    • Age (if known)
    • Maker or brand (if known)
    • Condition or defects

  2. During that time, you place your bid letter and the dollar amount you wish to bid.

    EXAMPLE OF BIDDING: A $25

  3. The host will continue describe and the current bid will occasionally be announced but it’s up to the bidder to know where the current bid it based on the last bid on the thread.

  4. When time is up, the timer will post:
“TIMES UP” and the item name in the comments and will include the winning bid letter. There will be no bids accepted after TIMES UP is posted.

  5. The winning bidder number will then be announced

Payment & Pickup

• The winning bidder’s card will be charged after the auction is over for their final bid amount
All sales are final – no refunds
• Pickup must be arranged within one week

If the item is not picked up within the week, it will be offered to the next bidder and the original winner will not receive a refund.

By placing a bid, you are contractually agreeing to purchase the item if you win.
